COMMUNICATION
It is my hope that those who suffer in silence will hear the voice that is speaking here.
I say to you…
“You are not alone, you are not insane, you are worth being listened to, it is not your fault.”
This is my reality.
Freedom exists.
All of us have experienced fear at some time in our lives; many of us will know what it´s like to feel out of control of a situation; and I imagine a lot of us have felt alone, maybe isolated and, at times, felt despair.
Somewhere along the vast continuum of feelings and emotions that is open to us all, I believe we can meet and relate to each other. Here we can share an understanding of each other´s humanity, situation and experience of life.
This is the point at which care and support can be given to each other, and the healing of our pain can begin.
It has been a privilege to be involved with the production of this important and special site. Without the courage of all those who have contributed their personal experiences of O.C.D., and the hope of reaching out to others, I have no doubt that many people would be suffering alone.
You may start of reading this, feeling like a separate individual, I hope you will finish it feeling there is something that connects us all to each other.
This is where the healing begins.
